For many years, we have been the biggest fans of Khasto and its commitment to comfort and quality. Since the 80s, this Indian-Dutch family business has been crafting its signature 'cotton cashmere’: a remarkably soft and luxurious material that feels like a dream.

This fabric, consisting of three layers of fine and breathable cotton (voile), was initially developed to perfection by Nepali princess Damber Kumari, who was inspired by the Indian fabric tradition. The technique was then mainly used for scarves - Khasto means shawl in Nepali. It was a Nepali scarf like this that prompted Gon Uppal, the mother of Khasto's current owner Rahul, to create a new collection of nightwear and bedding.
